Covid-19 update

Hi there. Thanks for stopping by and seeing what the latest is with RCWP and Covid-19.

I hope all of you are well, safe and keeping as high spirited as possible during this unprecedented time. It really is unbelievable how things are at the moment but there is light at the end of the tunnel I believe!

Here at HQ we have been working a lot on the backlog of images created over the last decade as well as testing out some new gear for Nikon (locally and safely of course), including the D6 DSLR and 120-300 f2.8 lens (more on that later).

The situation is ever evolving and this page will be updated below as new information comes into play...

The current state is that our 2021 workshops are scheduled to go ahead as planned.
Please note the following regarding bookings...

Should the UK Government issue an FCO advisory against travel to a country you are visiting within 21 days of your departure, your money is protected. You would have the option to postpone your safari or cancel with a full refund. However, please note that if you decide to postpone or cancel your trip when there is no FCO advisory in place, cancellation charges will apply.

As part of our "small print enlarged" philosophy, please see additional information below.

If clients book their own flights it is their responsibility to get to Nairobi. For example that the trip is still going ahead but a client coming from elsewhere in Europe can’t leave their country due to a lockdown, they would be liable for cancellation charges.

So, the new insurance policies are with Campbell Irvine. Firstly they have a policy which allows for travel against Foreign & Commonwealth Office advice. As this is such a specialist policy all enquiries are dealt with on an individual basis.

The second policy is more of a general one but it has some specific, and helpful, inclusions with regards to Covid 19.

Below are three links one for Campbell Irvine’s main website and two further ones to the specific policies. (travel against FCO advice) (general policy)

If you have any questions regarding this or any other aspects of our trips please get in touch. Many thanks all and stay safe!
